CAREER
Colin qualified as a professional land surveyor and joined Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality in 1994. He went on to complete his Masters, in 1998, with a focus on Systems in Land Administration.
Colin joined NPM Geomatics in 2002 as an associate land
surveyor and become a director in 2003. Colin has previously served as president of the Institute of Professional Land Surveyors and Branch chair of the Eastern Cape Branch of the South African Geomatics Institute (SAGI).
In addition, Colin is an accredited mediator and has significant experience in negotiation and informal dispute resolution. He is highly skilled in helping clients and communities deal with property and boundary disputes.

- Land reform surveys
- Rural settlement and rural housing projects
- Setting out and monitoring for construction projects
- Infrastructure projects including road, airport, water pipeline and sanitation surveys
- Cadastral projects including large and small residential developments, beacon relocations and certificates of identity, and subdivisions of the national road network
Colin is a former President, and current Board Member of the Rotary Club of Gately, and actively involved in the Find Your Voice leadership program run by the club.
He is also chairman of the Middlecourt Trust which has developed most of the Lilyfontein School campus. Lilyfontein is renowned for its adventure-based curriculum and development of young leaders.
Colin’s great love is seeing people flourish. This may be why he is also a professional speaker and executive coach. And, when he is not working, you will most likely find Colin in his kitchen, cooking up a storm with a glass of wine close at hand.
